SERVICES
SHOW CREATION
JAM Events love creating the perfect show for a client, starting with the conceptualisation of the show based on the directive from our clients. Once a concept is approved, we do the scripting for the show, contract the artists and players, organise rehearsals, flights and accommodation when required and the technical requirements for the show.
JAM Events have a full team of Stage Managers who work on all their events. The team cover all backstage needs from calling a show, to running the backstage cast and crew, costume changes and make up. We work closely with Just Tonight Josephine in supplying the best costumes for a production.
JAM Events are a one stop production shop.
TECHNICAl SUPPORT
JAM Events have a strong alliance with technical suppliers, and often call upon these companies to provide the technical support required for a show. Over the years, these suppliers have acquired equipment to augment the show’s that JAM Events produce.
AUDIO LOGIC: Marius Marais from Audio Logic has over the years acquired equipment specific to the requirements of an orchestra in order to reproduce the acoustic sound of an orchestra.
VISUAL FRONTIER: Joshua Cutts, wherever possible, does the lighting for a JAM Events Production. With his understanding of what is required for an orchestra event, Joshua’s lighting is spectacular within the restraints of an orchestral setting
THE GEARHOUSE GROUP: JAM Events have worked with the Gearhouse Group on many productions for staging, lighting, power and sound.
CREATIVE COLLABORATIONS
JAM Events have a close working relationship with Maestro Richard Cock from Richard Cock Music Enterprises and the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra. Together we create classical music shows with a difference. Working together we have produced 17 years of Rand Merchant Banks flagship show 'Starlight Classics'.
JAM Events work with Thatch music to create corporate musical events with a difference. James Bassingthwaighte from Thatch music has his finger on the pulse of local and international contemporary music and this working relationship has seen 3 years of highly successful Spring Balls for EOH.
OUTREACH & EDUCATION
In association with Richard Cock and the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, JAM Events have been involved in outreach and education concerts in all 9 provinces over the past 15 years. A small orchestra visits a disadvantaged area, and perform a one hour concert called “An introduction to the Orchestra”, where we introduce kids to the orchestral instrument family, and play a variety of music for them.
